Skits & Giggles!

Drama camp meets Monday, July 8th - Friday, July 12th

Grades 1-5: 9am - 12pm [wait list]

Grades 6-8: 12pm - 3pm [wait list]

Camp Leader: Ms. Michelle

Skits & Giggles explores the amazing and diverse world of drama, by learning the essential elements of stage and theatre. Actors will work on their performance skills throughout the week, and put on a small showcase for family at the end of camp!

Theater is not only an art but also a way to connect and communicate with others. Actors are able to share and demonstrate emotions and thoughts that challenge their perspective on various topics. It is not about becoming someone else on stage but rather being allowed to express yourself in a unique way.

New friends, new experiences, and a newfound sense of confidence is something all of our campers leave with after their week of camp. It’s our hope that we continue to inspire our campers to better themselves through the arts!

Romeo to Go

Monday, June 24th - Friday, June 28th. A drama performance camp for grades 7-12. No experience necessary.

Show Synopsis

Due to budget cuts there will only be a single session of Drama One for the entire school year. And the class will only last 20 minutes. And the students must perform an entire Shakespeare play for a schoolwide assembly during a time slot of only 10 minutes.

Under the direction of the egomaniacal Mrs. Gunnysack, these rookie thespians pull together for the fastest, cleanest, lowest-budget rendition of Romeo and Juliet the world has ever seen, complete with a makeshift balcony, avant-garde swordfights, and an Elizabethan hip-hop dance party to end all Elizabethan hip-hop dance parties.
